Interviews

Thanks to all of you for coming in to meet with me to discuss your child's progress. I really enjoyed getting to know you all a little more. Your children are blessed to have such caring parents. If you were unable to make it in for a meeting, please know that I am always glad to meet with you.You do not have to wait until next reporting period.


Learning Commons

We will be going to the Learning Commons this week for the second time. This week each child will be able to choose one book to take home. We go each Tuesday. Your child will need to return his/her book the following Tuesday in order to get a new book.

Homework

Thank you all for keeping up with the homework. Though this week is a short week, I will send home homework but only due for Monday the 19th. Please also make sure you review all of the words learned since September. They should be able to read them all. You can make your own cards with them and play games like Memory and Go Fish to practice through play. I will send home a little assessment on the words learned so far this week.

Show and Tell

Though we don't have a specific show and tell time, if there is something special your child would like to share with the class at anytime, please let us know. We would love to hear about it (e.g. pictures from a trip, a new badge from Beavers, a medal from a sport they play...)
