Advent Week 3

As part of our Advent project we will be collecting small toiletries to donate to those in need. We appreciate your continued support.

Homework

There will not be any new Word Wall Words or homework this week. The children deserve a break, they have been working very hard!

Wednesday

We look forward to seeing you on Wednesday for our Craft Day. It will be in class from 1:00-2:15. We encourage the kids to wear red and green again.

Thursday

On Thursday students are invited to wear their P.J.'s to school. We will be joining the other 2 Grade 1 classes for a movie and a special treat (shhhh...popcorn) in the afternoon. This is a surprise for the kids. This Friday is our school PJ Day. This means PJ's 2 days in a row! :)

Snowflake Sale

On Thursday students are invited to bring money to purchase items at the Snowflake Sale. You are also welcome to send in any household items you no longer need to be sold. The idea is that the students can get some Christmas shopping done and the money raised will go towards the Grade 6 Me to We project.

Library

There was no Learning Commons last week because of the French sing-a-long, there is none this week either because Mrs. Oliviere will not be there. We will start up again in January.

Merry Christmas
