Terry Fox Fundraiser

Thanks to everyone for donating to the cause. We raised a lot of money. You are very generous!

Field Trip

Information about our first field trip has gone home. Please complete the permission forms and return them as soon as possible.

Reading and Homework

Please continue to read nightly with your child. Feel free to fill in the log also. Once I start sending home levelled readers filling in the log will help keep track, but it's not necessary at this time. Homework looks good so far, please encourage your child to sit their letters on the line when they print and to use a regular pencil to do the work, not a pen or coloured pencil.

Science

In Science we have been talking about the seasons and how the earth's orbit around the sun causes the seasons and its rotation causes day and night. Please talk to them about this to reinforce the concept. Also, please review days of the week and months of the year with your child if they don't know them yet.

Photo Day

Monday October 7th is Photo Day.
