Hello Parents,

I hope this post finds you all well. Please see below for a few updates.

Advent Project

For each week of Advent, our school will be collecting items for the Shepherds of Good Hope. This week it is items such as hats, mittens, scarves... all donations are appreciated. Stay tuned for ways on how you can support in the next two weeks.

Reading

Please continue to read nightly with your child and to review regularly their Word Wall Words. In January, I will begin to send home readers at their level. They will keep it at home for the week and get a new one the following week. Also, please make sure to check out Razkids for a digital option to support your child's reading.

Winter Clothing

Thank you to everyone for having your child ready for the snow. I suggest that the children keep an extra pair of socks and mittens in their backpack for when it is really wet. We want them to be dry and warm on the cold winter days that are ahead of us. 

Student Portal

Please continue to access Hapara and other apps on the Student Portal. There are many great resources to support your child's learning.

Allergies

Please be reminded that we are a nut free school.

Spirit Week

We will be having another Spirit Week the last week before the break. It'll be a fun way to end before the break.
