Hi Parents!

    I hope this message finds you all well. I just wanted to take the time to thank you for all your hard work in supporting your children with their online learning. It's so great to see that they are showing up consistently and are ready and eager to learn. I know it is a very long day for them to be online but I am very proud of how they are managing. There are just a few things below to remember and to bring to your attention. 

Mic and Cameras

I encourage the children to keep their cameras on unless it is not possible.  It is more engaging when we see each other. Their mic however should be muted unless they have been asked to unmute to share something. They are asked to focus on the screen and not be distracted by objects and toys in their proximity. It may be a good idea to keep distractions away while they are in lessons.

Prodigy

I have registered our class for Prodigy. It is an online Math learning site. I sent the information last week on Classdojo. Please consider signing up. It is a good alternative to Zorbit Math.

Reading

Please make sure to continue with your regular nightly reading with your child. You are welcome to review texts on our daily Slidedeck, Raz-kids or of course any other books you have at home.

PD Day

Please be reminded that there is no school on Friday because it is a PD Day.
