Hi Parents,

Please see below for a few updates.


Water Bottles

As the warmer weather approaches, please make sure that you send your child with a water bottle. This will limit the number of trips to the water fountain.


Reading/Red Folder

I will be sending home levelled readers until the first week of June for all students who are either at grade level or below. If your child is above, I will not. It is not necessary. Students should be at a level 14-15 by the end of June (levels are indicated on the back of the book). Please read the book several times to build fluency. There is a tracking sheet in the red folder. Please return it each Monday so your child can get a new book.  If the book is not returned I will not be able to send home a new one.

Homework

This Friday 5 sentences of your choice is due. We had 2 short weeks so no homework was given.

Education Week

Parents are invited to come to our Open House next Tuesday morning. Details will be sent home from the office.

Field Trip

We will need volunteers for our Field Trip to the museum of Science and Technology on May 22, more details will go home next week.

Scientists in the School

If you are volunteering for the Scientists in the School tomorrow, please come for 8:45 and we should be done by just before 12:00. Thank you so much for taking the time to join us!! We couldn't do it without you!
