Hello Parents!

Here we are with just 6 weeks left of school. The time is really flying. Please see below for some updates.

Field Trip

We will be leave the school at 9:20 on Thursday. We are expected to be at the museum for 9:45. If you are volunteering, please meet us there at that time. There is no extra room on the bus for parents. We will be boarding the bus at 1:25 to return to school.  Volunteers will be given a small group of children to be responsible for. You will take them around the museum and ensure they eat their lunch. It will be mostly open to you as to times for things. We do have a 45 minute scheduled workshop. Please just make sure you are at the workshop at our specified time. We are the first group. Ours will begin as soon as we get there.

Homework

Our last homework will be due May 31st. We will have no homework in June. Please howver continue to read.


Time Unit

Please review time to the hour and half hour with your child. They need to know the 2 hands for hour and minutes and how to read to the hour and half hour. Also, please consider having daily discussions about the times you do particular things. Many of the children are having difficulty with this. They don't know the times they wake uo, go to sleep, take the bus, eat dinner and other daily routines.

Library

Today is our last library day.

Hi Parents,

Please see the curriculum tab for May Learning Goals. Also, check the calendar for a glance at what is going on this month. Our Field Trip is scheduled for Thursday, May 23rd (not the 22nd as mentioned in the last post, sorry about that). Please let me know if you are able to volunteer.
