Homework

Our last homework due day was Friday. For the remainder of the year please focus on reading. If you wish to continue with me sending levelled readers please let me know. Otherwise, I will assume you are happy with reading your home books.

Library

Tuesday June 4th is our last visit to the library. We were given an extra week because the students lost a week due to EQAO testing. Please make sure to return all books by June 11.


Fire Safety Presentation

Grade 1's will be having a fires safety presentation June 18, please discuss fire safety with your children. We will also be discussing general safety as part of our Grade 1 curriculum. Please make sure you remind your children of everyday safety rules such as wearing a helmet to ride a bike, knowing your phone number,  how to call 911...

Friendship Lunch

The Grade 1 classes will be having a Friendship Lunch on June 20th. Each child will bring in something to share (nothing with nuts of course) pot-luck style, more information will follow.
