Dear Parents,

Please see below for a few updates.

Library

We will not have a regular library visit this week due to the book fair. Our next visit to exchange books will be next week. We will be going this Thursday however for the book fair. Children are welcome to bring in money to purchase a book that day.

Craft Day

Our school wide Craft Day is Dec. 12 in the afternoon. You are invited to come in and do a craft with your child. I hope you can all make it.

Homework

Please encourage your child to write an asking sentence this week in their homework books. I would like the children to begin writing using different punctuation. Next week and the following there will not be any new Word Wall Words, instead I will send home a review sheet to practice what they have learned so far along with some new Word Family Words to review.

Advent

We will be having a short Advent celebration each Monday. We will be collecting items for those in need. This week we are collecting canned goods. Please feel free to donate if you can.

Socks

Please make sure your child has an extra pair of socks in their bags for when they get wet. It's no fun having cold and wet feet.
