March 15-19

We will be having some special activities next week for the week formerly known as "March Break". We are looking forward to having some fun with a schoolwide Spirit Week.

Monday- Manic Monday (wear mismatched clothing)

Tuesday - Beach Day (wear beach attire)

Wednesday - St. Patrick Day (wear green)

Thursday - Throwback Thursday (wear something from a previous decade)

Friday - Popcorn and Movie Day (wear your PJ's)

Subtraction

We have been working on subtraction. There were a few students who needed some extra help. I wrote to those parents. Thank you to parents for supporting your child with this. Your extra support has really helped their learning.

Reading

Please continue reading nightly. The children are doing really well. As a reminder, by the end of Grade 1 students should be at a level 15 and Grade 2 students should be at a 20. I will send home a updated word wall word test soon.
