Firstly, I want to say thank you for completing the attestation everyday. I know it is just one more thing to remember in our already busy lives but it really helps the office staff.

Thank you for reading nightly with your child. I have seen many gains. 

Thank you for remembering to not send in anything containing nuts.

Thank you for sending in materials to help with our structures projects.

Thank you for supporting our classroom in every way!

Math

We have moved on to a new unit in Math. We are now working on Measurement. Many of the students could still use a lot of practice with addition and subtraction. The Xtra Math site is good for them to practice Math facts. I encourage students to use that site. If not, please choose another similar site or activity to reinforce those skills.

Black History Month

Students worked in groups to do Research Projects on some Famous people in Black History. They did such an amazing job. Ask them who they learned about. 

Winter/Spring

As we get reading to move into  new season, please continue to make sure students are dressed appropriately. An extra pair of mittens and socks in their bag is a great idea.

March Break

Have a good and safe March Break. Enjoy some down time with your family and friends!
