Hello Parents!

Please see below for a few updates.

Assessment Folder

The assessment folder will go home on Friday. Please take a look at it over the weekend and return it on Monday.

Reading

Please ensure that you continue to read with your child each night. A new book is given on Mondays. The books are at your child's instructional level. They are levelled readers. The numbers at the back are their level. By the end of Grade 1, students should be at 15. By the end of Grade 2 students should be at 20. 

Homework

For the next 2 months, I will be sending home some Math homework. It will be handed out on Mondays and expected to be returned the following Monday. You are free to complete it at a time throughout the week that works best for you. 

Playdough

Our class playdough  supply has dried out and therefore we are asking for any volunteers to make us more to help us get through to the rest of the year. We would really appreciate it. If you can't make it, we would also gladly accept ready made playdough.

No Nuts 

Please be reminded that nuts are not permitted at school.
